The iWeek 2020 Dance Competition will take place on Thursday, April 2nd, at 7 pm in the Center for the Arts.
All participants must be CURRENTLY ENROLLED GMU STUDENTS with a valid GMU Student ID card. A student can participate in up to 2 teams. Only RSOs in good standing with the Student Involvement Office may participate in the iWeek activities.
Participating teams will be scored on the following 4 elements: choreography, group execution and dance technique. appearance/costume, and audience connection
Music should be no longer than 7 minutes for competing teams and 5 minutes for showcase performances.
The application deadline is Monday, February 24th, 2020 (11:59 pm). No applications will be accepted after this date. The mandatory meeting will be held in Student Involvement (The HUB 2300) on Thursday, March 5th, 2020 between 10:00 am to 1:00 pm, Participating team captains can come at any time during the time allotted meet with the iWeek committee. All final rosters and music are due by Friday, March 20th, 2020.
